This handmade one-of-a-kind pendant features a brilliant coloured Shattukite turquoise gemstone. This is a rare type of turquoise which contains red cuprite. Only small amounts come out of the Congo each year. The stone is 38mm x 28mm, 5mm thick.
I have also used merino wool fiber in gorgeous blues with pink silk threads, plexiglass, copper plate (heat patina and prismacolors), Thai Karen Hills Tribes fine silver beads & snow rings (Fair Trade), amethyst cubes, sodalite beads, brown pearls, handcarved yak bone skulls from Tibet, sterling silver chain and a sterling silver disc stamped "Musical Sea Jelly."
This unique piece can be worn as a brooch or a pendant (neckwire/chain not included but may be purchased from my Chains Page).
Length: felt body = 8cm, whole piece = 26cm
